The Hula Lamp is a 3D-printed lamp model by designed Felix Pöttinger for the brand Gantri. The light is created to be functional and aesthetically pleasing with its two-way shade and double diffusers. These features create two types of light—one that shoots upwards (direct light) and one that falls downwards (indirect light). While the former creates "an illusion of higher ceilings," the latter delivers a warm glow to the interior. Because of this, German designer Felix Pöttinger claims that the 3D-printed lamp design also presents a solution "to the shrinking spaces inevitable to city living."
The Hula Lamp is available to consumers in three colorways, including Snow, Forest, and Blossom Pink. Because of the minimalist silhouette, the 3D-printed lamp can also be inserted effortlessly into any interior style.
