Victoria Beckham is featured on the cover of the new issue of Allure magazine and in an editorial entitled, “Through the Looking Glass.†Unlike her usual robotic poses, Beckham looks incredibly natural and beautiful through the lenses of Michael Thompson, who photographed her in New York City.
According to allure.com, “To create Victoria's natural look, makeup artist Scott Andrew brushed metallic beige shadow on her eyelids, lined her eyes with black pencil, applied a creamy rosy blush on the apples of her cheeks, and blended a beige lipstick with a pink lip stain to make her lip color.â€
In the interview Beckham said, "I just make the best out of what I have. I'm not out-of-the-ordinary-looking at all. I'm incredibly ordinary."
Allure has a photo gallery of assorted Beckham photos in which she discusses her fashion choices and lifestyle in each picture. Visit the site to dive deeper into the background of her most iconic images.
I must say it's nice to get to know the real person behind the masks and robotic exterior.
