To pay tribute to Olympic athlete Usain Bolt as its brand ambassador of five years, Virgin Media created a virtual projection of Usain Bolt running that was shared across the city of London.
The virtual projection involved showing the Olympic champion running across some of the city's most well-known landmarks, including the Brixton Recreation Centre, Cold Harbour Lane and the Tate Modern. At the end of the virtual projection's tour of London, the image of Bolt was projected over clubs in Soho dancing.
On the creation of this unique stunt, Kerris Bright, the chief marketing officer at Virgin Media says: "The fastest man on the planet goes hand in hand with the fastest broadband and Usain is super-fast and super entertaining; the perfect embodiment of Virgin Media."
