Toto Foods makes nourishing, great-tasting cookies with a focus on boosting immunity and gut health.
Founder and CEO Sydney Webb created Toto Foods based on her own health journey with Crohn's disease and colon cancer. "I had to basically get rid of all my favorite foods including at the time Toll House Cookies, and I was put on a really intense diet for my Crohn's," said Webb. But after finding out what kinds of foods would support her, she set out to create Toto to help others enjoy the sweet taste of cookies without compromising gut health, or overall health.
Although the initial idea was to create cookie dough, the complicated production processes and logistics with refrigeration led the brand to develop shelf-stable, ready-to-eat cookies instead.
