While seasons one through five of The Mind of a Chef TV series have been shared on PBS, the show's sixth season is now being broadcast on Facebook Watch, the social media site's dedicated video platform.
As with previous seasons of the show, The Mind of a Chef follows a single chef over the course of a series of episodes. Season six takes viewers into the mind of James Beard Award-winning chef Danny Bowien of Mission Chinese, a New York City-based eatery with a focus on Asian-American cuisine.
Executive producer Anthony Bourdain explains that Bowien was selected as the subject of the season because he is "one of the most influential chefs in America today... constantly changing and redefining what 'American' cuisine means for us all."
