ElasticoFarm Designs The Hole with the House Around in Italy

Architecture studio ElasticoFarm creates The Hole with the House Around, which is a house that rests on stilts around a suspended void. It is resting just above some trees in a private park in Cambiano, which is a town just to the southeast of Turin in Italy.

The home is built as an independent structure along with an existing home first created in the 70s. The Hole with the House Around is made with a range of corrugated volumes above orange metal stilts for a bright look. The studio explains to Dezeen, "The architectural box disassembles into a series of distinct elements, while a central void emerges. [This serves] as the focal point around which the architecture achieves its balance."
