The Dubliner Irish Whiskey has announced the launch of 'Fiery Irish,' an all-new whiskey liqueur made with chillis and cinnamon.
Unlike the brand's other whiskey offerings, this new expression is a liqueur and, therefore, comes with a 30% ABV instead of a more traditional 40%+ ABV. In addition, it features a notable sweeter and more intense flavor profile than traditional whiskey. According to the company, the new product will be first introduced in Australia before being rolled out to other international markets.
"Whilst Dubliner Fiery Irish packs a punch with its bold flavour, as a whiskey liqueur, its lower abv makes it a more accessible taste for those who are new to whiskey," said Bronagh Hunt, global brand marketing director at Quintessential Brands.
