Tetris House is a residential structural concept, designed by Universe Architecture, that embraces the modular philosophy towards architecture by using a block-based system that takes after the classic video game.
Each Tetris House consists of a number of blocks that are either placed next to each other or on top of each other. Residents can easily situate kitchens or bathrooms wherever they want. Despite the modular nature of the house, the structure is very stale thanks to the use of a steel structure and steel trips on the facade. As an added advantage, these homes will cost less than average due to the sheer simplicity of the modular setup.
The Tetris House ultimately is designed to put residents in control by allowing them choose, chop and change the layout.
