There are already plenty of applications to help women around the world virtually try on a variety of makeup products and looks, but Shiseido's 'TeleBeauty' offers something new. The Shiseido app was specifically designed for women, particularly those in Japan, who telecommute. In this way, TeleBeauty makes it possible for a woman to quickly apply virtual makeup before engaging in a live video chat with coworkers, clients or other professionals over the Internet.
To use, women simply have the app scan their face so that adjustments can be made to fix blemishes and other undesirable spots on the skin. From there, women have the ability to choose between a number of different virtual makeup styles such as 'Natural' or 'Feminine.'
Currently, the app is in testing with a hundred female employees at Microsoft in Japan as a Skype for Business app.
