Summertime smoothies are often consumed for the sake of refreshment in the hottest months of the year, but now Smoothie King is launching a trio of Hydration Smoothies that are specifically formulated to replenish the body.
The three new beverages from Smoothie King include: the Watermelon Hibiscus Hydration Smoothie, Lemon Green Tea Hydration Smoothie and Dragon Fruit Hydration Smoothies, each of which is blended with a base of Zico coconut water and whole fruit ingredients. Smoothie King reports that its drinks offer "more than five times the potassium of the leading sports drink." Zico coconut water is also a source of four other electrolytes: sodium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.
In all, the Hydration Smoothies are free from added sugar, fat and cholesterol.
