Starbucks Oleato is a new line of coffee infused with cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil—specifically, the product of Sicilian olive oil company Partanna. The olive oil company partnered with Starbucks to create a curated blend of olives from Nocellara del Belice in Partanna to pair with Starbucks Arabica coffee.
In the Oleato line, there are five new drinks: the Oleato Caffé Latte (Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast with oat milk infused with olive oil;) Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew; the Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso; and two drinks that are exclusive to Starbucks Reserve locations. While Oleato Deconstructed pairs passionfruit cold foam with Starbucks Reserve Espresso and Partanna extra virgin olive oil, the last in the line, the Oleato Golden Foam Espresso Martini, mixes vodka and vanilla bean syrup and tops it all off with olive oil golden foam.
Howard Shultz, Starbucks' interim chief executive officer, told Food & Wine, "Oleato represents the next revolution in coffee that brings together an alchemy of nature's finest ingredients."
