Crowdsourced Sci-Fi Films

Star Wars Uncut is a Fan-Made Masterpiece

Star Wars Uncut is a fan-made movie that features 15 second clips or recreated scenes from the sci-fi epic Star Wars: A New Hope. When stringed together, the short clips create a feature-length film that is an astonishing two hours and three minutes long.

The project was started by Casey Pugh when he asked people on the web to help him re-create the Star War film by contributing short segments of the movie. Eventually, the word spread and soon enough Pugh had more than enough footage to tie together a entire film. The clips are a mix of all kinds of things including dolls, animation, and children dressed in costume.

Star Wars Uncut just goes to show you that the power of the Internet is massive and if people work together, they can create something truly forceful.
