Formed in Burlington Ontario, the indie band 'Walk off the Earth' has closely collaborated to produce their new cover song of 'Somebody That I Used to Know' originally produced by Gotye.
When stating they "closely collaborated," I mean that the entire band is playing one guitar at the same time. While one member of the band is keeping the beat using his hands and the base of the guitar, three more are placing their fingers on the frets and picking away. There is also one girl in Walk off the Earth, who stands out from the rest with her blonde hair while she picks and strums away on the pickup. Did I mention that they sing with beautiful harmonies at the same time and that their voices are stupendous?
The Somebody That I Used to Know cover by Walk off the Earth is a truly original approach to music that is entertaining to watch, and even better to listen to.
