Inspired by her Russian grandmother’s secret recipe for twice-baked cookies, Marlo’s Bakeshop founder Marlo Giudice introduced a new Sesame Tahini Tea Cookie as part of its Heirloom Cookie collection.
This new Marlo’s Bakeshop Heirloom Cookie is said to "remind people of a better version of their favorite peanut butter cookie from childhood," and features exotic tahini as the "it" ingredient of the year according to Giudice.
In order to make the old cookie recipe appealing to a new audience, Marlo’s Bakeshop created a refreshed, health-focused formula with a focus on organic ingredients, heart-healthy coconut oil, Non-GMO Project verification and cookie packaging that sustainable Forestry Certified paper. The Sesame Tahini Tea Cookies are also allergy-friendly and free from dairy, nuts and soy.
