Krispy Kreme's newest location in Concord, North Carolina, is serving up "a taste of what's to come" with the debut of a cool new item called Scoop Sandwiches.
Krispy Kreme's new Concord location suggests some changes in store for the iconic brand with new menu items and the first comprehensive shop redesign in more than 10 years. One of these new items is the Scoop Sandwiches, which are a tasty take on the classic ice cream sandwich. Instead of cookies, the outside of the sandwich consists of two halves of a sliced Krispy Kreme donut. The inside is then stuffed with an Original Glazed Donut-infused ice cream and finished with your choice of toppings and drizzles.
Best of all, the new donut-infused ice cream is also being used to make the chain's new hand-spun milkshakes.
