There’s nothing quite like a warm welcome home from a loving dog, especially if you’ve been away for months on active military duty. This heartwarming video from RumChata features smile-inducing reunions between veterans and their extremely loyal pups as a reminder of for all of us to also warmly welcome back wounded service members.
RumChata proudly supports the Lone Survivor Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that welcomes back wounded service members and their families with health, wellness, and therapeutic support. RumChata’s Freedom Bottle program recently generated over $138,000 in donations at The Indianapolis 500 over Memorial Day Weekend.
Before the race, RumChata presented a check of $108,985 to the Lone Survivor Foundation that represented the total proceeds raised by the RumChata Foundation from special edition red, white and blue RumChata bottle sales. On top of that, RumChata pledged an additional $25,000 when Marco Andretti’s #25 Indy car with the RumChata logo finished in third place.
Finally, RumChata donated an additional 500 cents ($5) to the Lone Survivor Foundation for every tweet written by RumChata fans with the hashtag #RumChata500, resulting in an additional $4,570 in donations from close to one thousand tweets.
The limited-time collection of red, white and blue logoed RumChata bottles will be sold until the Fourth of July nationwide. Visit the Lone Survivor Foundation to learn more.
