For better or for worse, artists often stick to one medium they feel comfortable working in, but that’s not the case with comic artist Rob Duenas. In this series of pictures depicting The Avengers cast, he pencils in the rough gestures of the characters, then goes over the details in ink, colors in the images with what appears to be markers and then finishes everything off by splattering paint on the compositions. If that’s not dedication to one's craft, I don’t know what is.
Also worth mentioning is Rob Duenas’ sharp drawing style. There are a ton of rigid lines in his work, giving his subjects a powerful and dangerous feel, which is appropriate considering he’s depicting the likes of Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America.
