The Crumpled Paper Architecture series showcases crumpled pieces of paper being fed into an algorithm that turns the images into stunning buildings that look almost unattainable in their futurism. Designer Tim Fu, who is on the team responsible for the Crumpled Paper Architecture series notes that "this is NOT Midjourney / Stable Diffusion / Dalle," the popular artificial intelligence software tested by many designers nowadays. Instead, this is "an all-new AI model specializing in architectural design." Tim Fu hinted that more details will come soon.
After providing the AI with a detailed, high-resolution image of the piece of paper, Tim Fu needed to include a text prompt to instruct the algorithm "to manipulate the image in the style of [one's] choosing." The Crumpled Paper Architecture series truly boasts some very interesting results.
