In honor of National Prosecco Day, The Doughnut Project is dishing up boozy new Prosecco Donuts made with the bubbly alcoholic drink.
Created by the same bakery that gave the world the Everything Bagel Donut, the new Prosecco Donuts are an adult take on the popular breakfast pastry. The Doughnut Project has been perfecting the recipe for the past two years and has finally unveiled its boozy new creation. The pastries themselves consist of a traditional yeast donut base infused with Ruffino Prosecco. The donuts are then topped with edible gold leaf and pink glitter to truly bring out the sparkling look of freshly popped Prosecco.
With National Prosecco Day set to take place on August 13th, the donuts are a tasty and inexpensive way to celebrate.
