Repurposed Produce Condiments

These Condiments Give New Life to Rejected Fruit & Vegetables

MARK Studio developed a conceptual packaging design for a brand that turns so-called "ugly" fruit and vegetables into vibrant new repurposed produce condiments.

The London Pickle, Spicy Tomato and Red Onion condiments boast vibrant jar designs that capture one's attention and hold it with details that share more about the brand's mission to "fight food waste with relish." Each boldly colored jar includes a graphic detail that shows just how many fruits and vegetables were successfully repurposed for each product. In the case of the Spicy Tomato condiment, 29 tomatoes are rescued with each jar that is produced.

Around the world, a staggering amount of perfectly good fruits and vegetables go to waste simply because of their slightly unconventional looks. A number of brands are now doing their part to help consumers curb food waste by creatively repurposing ingredients.
