PodTime has a chance to be the greatest British creation since the Beatles. PodTime is a company that offers pods for rent to weary workers in need of a nap.
The PodTime pods measure 2.1 by 1.1 meters and are rented out for 30-minute and one hour sessions at the PodTime headquarters. A 30-minute PodTime rental costs around $10, with an hour rental going for around $15. PodTime claims clean and cleanly sleeping quarters, which is certainly a much better alternative to sleeping on your desk or the couch in the break room.
I love the idea behind PodTime. I would like to see PodTime become something of a vending machine-type service, in which pods were dropped off at businesses and paid for by workers for use whenever.
