One of the most standout designs at this year's Royal College of Art Master of Arts Fashion Show came from graduate designer Stefanie Tschirky, who created a plastic dress inspired by physics, math and chaos.
The designer began her initial research by looking into the Golden Ratio Theory, which led into an exploration of perfection and beauty from a scientific perspective with aid from the perspectives of other students in different fields. Tschirky's final design uses a combination of thread and cling film to create a sealed "second body" to envelop the skin. Going back to the original theme, the finished design is a celebration of the perfection that can be found in chaos.
On the runway, the model wearing the cling-wrap dress was instructed to walk in a "dark and fragile" manner.
