As part of its research on drinkers who are active on social media, Beam Suntory's Sauza brand found out that more than half of America's cocktail drinkers are active on social media and love to take photos of drinks. Wanting to help consumers brush up on their photo-taking skills, Sauza created the 'Pitcher Perfect Picture' campaign, led by advice from lifestyle photographer Michelle Yam.
Yam's tips are being shared on the brand's Instagram account, revealing tips and tricks that the average consumer can put to use when it comes to angles, lighting, filters and color coordination.
In order to start a dialogue, the brand is encouraging social media users to add their voice to the campaign by tagging photos with #SauzaPitcherPics. Now that there is a huge shift in the way consumers are sharing experiences with friends, family and followers, many brands want to make sure that product cameos in photos are truly picture perfect.
