Spanish plant-based brand Heura will be opening the doors to a pop-up "Phamacy" in Paris styled like a real pharmacy to familiarize the public with the health impact of processed pork products. At the pop-up, staff will be outfitted in medical outfits and the menu will "prescribe" the brand's plant-based meats like additive-free ham substitutes as healthier alternatives to animal-derived meats.
"Ham and processed meat really are bad for your health according to studies: they’ve been linked to increased risks of diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease," shared Heura’s global head of content and social on LinkedIn, "But here’s the good news: we have the cure! Plant-based "ham" that’s both healthy, delicious, better for the planet and the animals."
