Pepsi is releasing a new flavor for the summer called Pepsi Fire.
The cinnamon-flavored cola will be available until the end of June in 20oz bottles, 12oz cans and as a Slurpee at select 7-Eleven stores. Purported to be the "hottest drink of the summer," the novelty aspect of the beverage is huge. According to Pepsi's marketing director Lauren Cohen, "Summer is one of the most anticipated times of the year, and Pepsi Fire is going to ignite this season with an unconventional and spicy kick to our classic cola taste."
With sleek, youthful orange and blue packaging, the product is certainly a departure from the classic Pepsi. That said, limited-edition Pepsi flavor options tend to push the boundaries. Consumers will now able to see if they can take the heat.
