Swedish Architecture Firm Visiondivision Designs the Paper Cut Parlour

This private athletic clinic located in Stockholm will surely get you excited to visit the doctor. The Swedish architecture firm named Visiondivision is in the process of completing the Paper Cut Parlor, a waiting room in the clinic with a modern-design structure.

The ceiling of the Paper Cut Parlor "is constructed of pressed transparent paper," replacing traditional lighting fixtures. The ceiling’s model is made up of three different designs of an upside-down pyramid: open, closed or semi-open. Each design is placed accordingly to provide enough light for each area.

Visiondivision’s Paper Cut Parlor is not only appealing to the eyes and can keep your mind occupied while in the waiting room, but it also boasts amazing acoustic properties.

The Paper Cut Parlor is expected to be completed by summer 2011.
