Australian architecture studio Alexander & Co introduces the Pacific House which is a home by the oceanside in Sydney. The project was to make the space suitable for a family -- it starts off with a five-bedroom design with a disjointed floor plan.
Jeremy Bill, the principal architect at Alexander & Co explains that the "[Pacific House] was substantial in structure but devoid of spirit and certainly absent of any operational utility." The practice took on the project with the goal to make the area great for activity and play with spaces that were calmer for adults to relax as well. The center of the house is the large and expansive kitchen done with warm American oak.
