Parc de la Distance by Precht is an outdoor park design that was created in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The park boasts high hedges that encourage social distancing while safely allowing enough space for everyone to enjoy fresh air, greenery and time spent somewhere other than home.
As outdoor spaces are being closed to make sure people keep safe distances from one another, Precht asked itself: "What would a park look like and how would it function if it takes the rules of social distancing as a design guideline?"
Within the Parc de la Distance, there are gravel paths that are arranged in a pattern that offers routes that can be explored in about 20 minutes of walking.
