The Georgia-based honey brand Savannah Bee Company has announced the launch of its new Orange Blossom Gold Reserve Honey. The new ultra-premium honey received the brand's 'Gold Reserve' status after being clinically tested for its pollen content and assessed by judges who scored items such its clarity and color.
Unlike other honey, Orange Blossom Gold Reserve Honey is sourced from specific orange groves in Florida where the local honey bees collect nectar to create "monofloral" honey that delivers a unique citrusy flavor.
"An abundant orange blossom season supported by early spring days gave the honeybees the ideal backdrop to do what they do best in the 2021 harvest season," explained Ted Dennard, founder and head beekeeper for Savannah Bee Company.
