Local design studio Office La unveils a look at a bright pink house which is made with inspiration drawn from the colors of New Orleans' vibrant streetcars. The decor palette reflects the influence and the firm's founder Lauren Hickman Ross happens to be a long-time friend of the clients.
They asked her to reimagine a space right at the corner of Chartres and Desire streets in the city. Hickman Ross notes that the team was "Tasked with outfitting a space that is seeping in and of New Orleans, Office La sought to capture a special magic only felt here through color and light." The interiors directly reflect the city's historic streetcars with a deep red and swampy green tone seen throughout the house.
