Sephora is giving consumers a chance to learn how to create the perfect look with its free 'No-Makeup Makeup' classes. While a more fresh-faced look has become popular in recent years, achieving such as look still requires a great deal of products and technique. Now Sephora is helping consumers figure out how they can recreate the 'no-makeup' look with free tutorials.
The No-Makeup Makeup classes consist of 90-minute sessions conducted in intimate group settings. The classes involve using Sephora's Color IQ shade-matching system to determine each user's perfect shade, a skin prep session, tips on creating the perfect nude lip and lessons on defining eyes and brows. Instructors will begin by demonstrating each technique on a model and then participants will have a chance to recreate the look themselves by using some of the store's most coveted products. The classes will even include one-on-one time with the instructors so that each attendee will benefit from personalized advice.
With plans to roll out similar programs later in the year, the classes demonstrate Sephora's new plan for increasing consumer-brand interaction.
