To further recognize Black creators in the beauty industry, Sephora launched its first-ever Black-owned brands campaign.
The campaign will feature a selection of Black-owned cosmetics and skincare products. Senior Vice President of Sephora Priya Venkatesh explains that many of the beloved tools and techniques in the beauty industry are thanks to Black innovators, and many of these innovators have been unrecognized and overlooked. This campaign champions the excellence of Black beauty and cosmetic innovators and helps educate Sephora customers about the impact of Black folks in the beauty industry.
The campaign will feature brands including Briogeo, Fenty Beauty, Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross, and Fashion Fair, to name a few. In addition, Sephora has also launched other initiatives such as Sephora Color IQ and Sephora Accelerates 2022 to continue its brand's diversification commitments.
