National Donut Day 2014 arrived in the US and while coffee and donut shops are offering up some sweet deals -- literally -- you can make a hybrid donut that probably exceeds anything they have to offer. This momentous donut treat infuses the classic donut of your choice with the iconic s'more campfire treat.
Dubbed the Donut S’more, the treat was created by the people behind the popular food blog Food Beast in a large batch so you can share -- or not share -- with all your friends.
The recipe can create a dozen s'mores. All you need is 12 mini donuts (they used cinnamon, but you can use whatever flavor you prefer) and the classic internal ingredients of a s'more: marshmallows and chocolate. Basically, the donuts replace the graham crackers, but for perfect toasting instructions see the full recipe here.
