In addition to catering to the consumer of today, Maison Mumm is looking ahead to the future with the introduction of Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar, which introduces an entirely reinvented drinking experience centered around space and zero-gravity settings.
As of the fall of this year, the new product will be introduced as one that will allow astronauts and space travelers alike to enjoy champagne. Over the course of three years, Maison Mumm worked with Spade—an agency specialized in space design—to create a reengineered bottle for a "high-tech champagne ritual."
The bottle introduces a new drinking experience that involves using "the champagne's gas to expel the liquid into a ring-shaped frame, where it is concentrated into a droplet of bubbles."
