Consumer demands for products with reduced sugar are increasing, which is seeing brands respond with new options like the Mott’s Sensibles lineup. Announced by the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group as a new option for US consumers, the drinks are made using a blend of apple juice, coconut water and vegetable juice for a healthier take on prepackaged refreshments. The drink lineup will consist of three flavor options including 'Apple Pineapple,' 'Apple Raspberry' and 'Apple Cranberry,' which will come packaged in bottles and pouches for increased convenience.
The new juices were explained by Director of Brand Marketing for Mott's, Kelly Stephenson, who said, "Our research shows that over 60% of people are concerned with the amount of sugar in juice. Parents want a juice that provides the taste they’ve come to expect from Mott’s, with less sugar stress. Mott’s Sensibles is a testament to our commitment to give parents solutions to help their families be their very best."
