These Moscow Mules put an even spicier twist on the alcoholic beverage otherwise known as the vodka buck. Created by Gabriel Cabrera of Artful Desperado and featured on the West Elm blog Front & Main, Frida's Mule Cocktail is a jalapeno-infused mezcal with ginger beer and lime juice.
Moscow Mules typically contain vodka, a spicy ginger beer and lime. This version changes things up with a Mexican alcohol distilled from the maguey plant. It was also infused with jalapeno peppers, giving it even more heat and spice. Like traditional Moscow Mules, the libation is served in copper cups.
The smoky taste combined with the ginger and lime make this boozy beverage the perfect drink on a hot summer's day.
