The digital projection project by the digital artist, interaction designer and Parsons MFA student recently exhibited at the school's Design and Technology Thesis Show.
This project will not only making small living spaces more homey, it also deals with potential problems arising from urban overpopulation. Mixed Reality Living Spaces uses digital projection to immerse individuals in an alternative environment. In a world where furniture will have to serve several functions, this combination of video, photography and computer graphics can completely alter the small space a person occupies depending on the scenario. It does this by giving the illusion of windows, paintings and a depth beyond the walls' current existence.
