"The gold is in the detail," someone once said to me, and looking at these miniature model paintings by Amy Bennett, I totally agree. The series is called 'Neighbors' and feature little houses with miniature people, cars, ponds and swimming pools.
Everything is executed down to the finest detail and really beautiful with leaves on the trees and snow landscapes.
The paintings reminds me of being a kid and building extensive miniature worlds with small objects and puppets. But the artist Amy Bennett takes it a step further as she then paints pictures of the 3D world that she has build. Curious and amazing is my verdict.
