Artisanal Aguardiente Brand 'Mil Demonios' Launches in the U.S.

Premium spirit brand Mil Demonios has announced that it is expanding into the U.S. market where it will begin selling its award-winning aguardiente. For those unfamiliar, aguardiente is a unique Spanish liqueur derived from sugar cane that delivers a strong anise-based flavor.

However, differing from the traditional aguardientes, Mil Demonios substitutes the anise for ginger, fennel, and coriander, delivering a more well-balanced drinking experience that still maintains the licoricy notes of the original liqueur without needing additional sugar. In addition, the brand boasts a particularly meticulous distillation process to capture the complex flavors of these ingredients.

"Our triple distillation process makes the taste of the alcohol smoother and equalizes the aftereffects of a big night out," explained Mauricio Gutiérrez, co-founder of 1000D Spirits SAS.
