The Beaufort Bar at The Savoy in London is introducing the Intrepid Magic cocktail menu as a way to explore magic's "fabled history, dark drama and timeless romance." The new menu is officially launching in October and its three sections are based on the three foundational pillars of magic tricks: The Pledge, The Turn and The Prestige.
The Pledge takes inspiration from the art of building anticipation and it features mixed drinks, wines and Champagnes that are meant to set the mood for an evening. In The Turn, drinkers will find themselves invited to discover the unexpected with agave spirits, gin, tonics and fortified wines. The final section of the cocktail menu, The Prestige, is meant to convey "satisfaction in wonder" with options that boast full aromas and rich flavors.
