M. Night School is Trying to Send the Director Back to School

M. Night School is a new blog set up by a band of film buffs/pranksters that is attempting to raise enough money to send director M. Night Shyamalan back to film school.

M. Night School is asking for $150,000 to send M. Night Shyamalan back to NYU's film school before he can start shooting the futuristic adventure film '1000 A.E.' with Jaden Smith. The blog says it is "tired of his schlocky plot twists, canned dialogue, and over commercialized image as an auteur."

In the past, a blog like M. Night School would be nothing more than a happy distraction, raising no money and eventually fading away into obscurity. This is not the past, however, and if recent history is used as proof, then this blog could actually raise the money it is looking for. I mean, if a comedian (Craig Rowin) can ask the Internet for, and receive, 1 million dollars simply because he wants to be a millionaire, anything is possible.
