Red Bull recently released a set of two special limited-edition cans for Red Bull Original and Sugarfree that depict the animated members of the Gorillaz band. The images of 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russell Hobbs are seamlessly integrated into the blue colorblocked portions of the cans.
Gorillaz' upcoming one-day Demon Dayz Festival—celebrating the release of the virtual band's newest album, Humanz—will be shared live on Red Bull TV. To further promote the ties between Gorillaz and Red Bull, the brand and band are encouraging fans to tweet using the #RedBullxGorillaz hashtag for the chance to become a member of the Demon Squad and win festival tickets.
In the past, Red Bull has also launched limited-edition cans in collaboration with other musical artists, as it did with Disclosure in 2015.
