The Lace Metal lamp is a beautiful contradiction that was inspired by one of the oldest metal working factories in Sweden. Upon visiting the factory, Form Us With Love (Fuwl) was inspired by the new technique of manufacturing steel mesh with gradient-sized holes and used the material to create the Lace Metal lamp.
The gradient holes of the material diffuse the light, causing the metal frame to blush and cast a surreal atmospheric glow upon the room. The poetic nature of the lamp bridges eras reminiscent of Victorian lace, yet enters into the 21st century with its geometric shape and modern material, this lamp would make Edison grin.
It is a part of the Progetto Oggetto Collection by Form Us With Love for Cappellini. The Lace Metal Lamp would make a unique focal point for your modern living room.
