La Croix quickly became popular for its stylish cans and refreshing flavors—so much so that the sparkling water beverages have inspired the creation of a new beer called 'La Fizz.'
For SF Beer Week, Oakland’s Temescal Brewing is launching La Fizz, which takes inspiration from LaCroix Pamplemousse, or grapefruit. The beer version of this beverage is touted as a "natural pamplemousee zest-infused sparkling ale." The beer boasts a low 3.8% ABV, which makes for a relaxed drinking experience.
The design of the limited-edition La Fizz cans also reference the packaging of the popular canned drinks. As Sam Gilbert, Temescal Brewing’s founder notes: "The beer is a small one-off batch, a tribute with no harm intended. We just want to poke a little fun at the water we’re all obsessed with."
