Japanese instant stir-fry noodles brand Peyoung has introduced a number of uniquely flavored products over the years but its newest release comes in collaboration with men’s hair shampoo brand Scalp D.
The Scalp D Yakisoba is packed with ingredients that are rich in nutrients, specifically those that are beneficial for promoting hair growth. Some of the unique additions that can be found in the yakisoba meal include kombu and seaweed, salmon and loquat leaf extracts, as well as hijiki, a brown sea vegetable that is known as a rich source of dietary fiber and minerals. These ingredients are called out on the dark packaging for the product, alongside messaging that targets men who are troubled by hair loss.
This stir-fry noodle product is just one example of how nutrient-dense foods and beverages are now being used to nourish consumers from the inside out and address specific health concerns.
