Designer Preben Dal works together with Japanese lighting imprint Yamagiwa works on a pendant lamp entitled the HR Series. It was originally made in the 60s by the designer for the Danish lighting design brand Hans Folsgaard, originally coining it the Simfoni.
Now, the faceted pendant light gets a modern new look as the shades are designed to create long diamond shapes constructed from steel -- it overlaps one another to create a harlequin pattern. The brand talks about the design, stating that "Each facet shows profound enchanting gradation like a curtain of light when it turns on," It has a dual tonal design of grey and white and comes in three sizes to suit any space.
