Design firm Draga & Aurel unveils a captivating collection during Design Miami this year, and it is made in conjunction with Todd Merrill Studio. The team fuses elements that are beyond Lucite and light refractions as the main inspiration. As a result, the collection features the Ribbon Pendant Lamps, the Flare Dining Table, and a Flare Cabinet.
The pieces are an extension of the studio's notable works, which explore light, transparency, and color. With each product, the studio continues to blend notions of art and furniture. Shining a spotlight on the Ribbon Pendant lamp, it has a curved ribbon structure made from acrylic resin. It gently wraps over the LED-lit capsule and has bright inserts of neon colors.
