For Hawaiian Foods Week, Dog Haus is kicking off the start of its 2019 Chef Collaboration Series with its first limited-time offering, the Karaage Kid Hawaiian sandwich. The special chicken sandwich was created exclusively for Dog Haus by King's Hawaiian's National Corporate Executive Chef Bert S. Agor, Jr.
The stacked Hawaiian sandwich features Japanese karaage fried chicken that's paired with slaw, sweet island ginger sauce, spicy mayonnaise and wasabi furikake, all of which is served on a grilled King's Hawaiian bun. Inspired by island flavors, the sandwich offers a different way for people to enjoy an elevated version of a classic lunchtime staple.
For every Karaage Kid Hawaiian sandwich that is sold, Dog Haus will be donating a dollar to its charity partner, No Kid Hungry.
