Geeta’s microwaveable sides are a new series of side dishes from Geeta's Foods crafted with ease of use and flavor in mind to work well for a variety of consumer meal occasions. The dishes come packaged in pouches that are easy to heat in the microwave for quick preparation and will offer enough food for two with the yield increasing if they're used as a smaller side dish. The product comes in two varieties including Bombay Spiced Lentils & Potatoes and Saag Aloo, which are both priced at £2 for a 250-gram pouch.
Director of Sales & Marketing Eleanor Bridgman spoke on the Geeta’s microwaveable sides saying, "Indian flavours have widespread consumer acceptance and appeal across a range of meal and snacking occasions. The growth in the heat and eat category presents a great opportunity for our new side dishes to add Indian flavours to a raft of meal or snacking occasions, as well as the Friday night curry."
