Funko Pop toys are staples in most gaming or movie-themed collections, but a new line of Funko cereal is aiming to excite fans to further their expansive collections. The new line of cereal is currently limited to six expressions, each featuring characters from video games, films and even the Funko mascot. The games featured in the Funko cereal collection include Mega Man and Cuphead. The films represented by the cereal feature iconic slasher villains like Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, as well as Gollum from the Lord of the Rings franchise.
Each box of cereal will be exclusive to specific stores and will require fans to visit several retailers to collect each FunkOs cereal. Funk intends on releasing additional cereals later in 2018. The boxes of cereal will also include a collectible prize hidden in the cereal.
